Court Hire Agreement

Our courts are open to the general public, and we welcome Tennis and Pickleball players for fun and enjoyable moments at our facilities. By hiring a court with us, you agree to the following rules and responsibilities:

Respect for Our Courts and Facilities
Please treat our courts and club amenities with respect. We pride ourselves on maintaining a friendly and welcoming space for everyone.

Equipment Hire
If you need to hire paddles or rackets, this can be done at our ProShop. Please ensure your booking aligns with our ProShop's operating hours, as staff will be required to assist you with the equipment.

ProShop Check-In
If your booking is during the ProShop's operating hours,
you must check in at the ProShop before entering the court. This is a security measure to ensure a smooth experience for all.

Hourly Court Hire Fees
Court hire is charged at an hourly rate, per person. If you’re booking for a group, each person in your group must pay the hourly fee.

Cancellations

Court hire bookings are only eligible for a refund if canceled at least 12 hours in advance. A credit may be offered for cancellations made within this timeframe.

Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the booking are not eligible for a refund. However, if there is a justified reason—such as a medical issue or another serious inconvenience—a credit may be offered. The booking manager is responsible for maintaining regular communication with the club and its administration in such cases.

Wet Weather

If the weather isn’t suitable for play, you can request a refund or reschedule your court booking. The person who made the booking is responsible for managing any changes and must contact the club to arrange a credit for a rainy day. The club does not follow up on weather-related cancellations for bookings made outside our schedule (private bookings).

Group Bookings

Responsibility of the Booker
The person making the group booking is responsible for informing all players in their group of the applicable fees. These fees are based on the booking duration and whether each player has a membership with the Mooloolaba Tennis Club.

Player List
The booker must provide a list of all players in the group to the ProShop thought the email info@ktacademy.com.au. This allows us to verify membership types and ensure fees are charged correctly and fairly.

Unpaid Fees
If any players avoid paying their fees, an invoice will be sent to the person who made the booking. It will then be their responsibility to collect the fees from those who did not pay.

Attention, Pickleball Players!

Court Setup

The Mooloolaba Tennis Club is currently in the process of constructing new purpose-built pickleball courts, which will soon be part of our facilities. In the meantime, players are responsible for setting up the nets and marking the court lines for their booking on the hard courts (Courts 7 to 10). Access to the Pickleball shed will be provided upon booking confirmation, and chalk is available in the Pickleball shed.

Please allow additional time to set up your court before play.

Equipment Hire

If you wish to hire paddles or balls, these are available from our Pro Shop for an additional fee. Please ensure your booking aligns with the Pro Shop’s operating hours, as staff assistance is required for equipment hire.

Please Pack Up the Nets After Your Session

At this stage, the hard courts are used for a variety of sessions, including tennis and pickleball. For this reason, please pack up the nets and return them to the shed after your session. This ensures everyone’s safety and makes the courts easy to use for all members.

Failure to comply with this rule may result in additional fees.

Court Hire Fees

Remember: our fees are charged per player, per hour, meaning every player in your booking must pay the corresponding fee based on their membership and booking duration.
